Join The Colorado Academy of Music and Dance on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. the Colorado Academy of Music and Dance at 975 Garden of the Gods Rd Ste F for a Free Beginning Tap Class and that night only, enroll in ongoing classes and receive a FREEE PAIR OF TAP SHOES!

Tap dancing is a fun style of dance that anyone can learn, regardless of previous dance experience. It's a great way to increase cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility and coordination, building strength in the legs and increasing flexibility in the hips, knees and ankles. Cognitive abilities are also enhanced, as tap dancers must develop both mental and muscle memory to become proficient at tapping. Tap dancing also develops a great sense of rhythm and timing. Tap instructors help students focus on music awareness while incorporating tap steps and combinations. Best of all - it's fun!

The class is open to Adults and Teens ages 14 and up. No previous dance experience is required. Wear comfortable clothing and tap shoes or hard-soled street shoes. Pre-registration is recommended. For more information or to register, please call (719) 635-1004 or email office@springsdance.com. Tap shoes may be pre-ordered by contacting the Academy by November 28th.
